Grooming is our specialty
We specialize in breed-specific clips but are happy to give your pet any look you want. Handle needs such as allergies and skunk odors are not a problem for us. If you want your dog decorate with safe colors that also can be done. We also offer the basics of pet care: baths, nail clips, ear and gland cleaning. Dogs and puppies
Two washes:
- First wash with premium shampoo and flea dip;
- Ears cleaned;
- Anal glands expressed;
- Second wash with premium shampoo and conditioner.
All hand drying:
- Brushing;
- Dematting (some dogs can't be dematted by hand.)
Grooming:
- Haircut;
- Nail clipping and or grinding;
Just for fun:
- Ear Rings, Feathers, Bows and cologne;
- Painted paw nails.

We specialize in giving them the same tender, loving care that you do. With our calm and caring techniques.

Not Just A Team – A Family
Decades of experience
Susan runs Fabulous Lanai Grooming Salon now that her mother Barbara has retired. Susan's skill and experience are probably unmatched in the Sacramento area – she began working as a dryer in the shop in 1972 – when she was just 13 years old.
Groomers Julie, Rosa and O.T. together have more than 40 years of experience. Like Susan they handle every pet with care and skill.
Dogs, receive low-stress treatment at Fabulous Lanai. Our philosophy is to make sure each pet feels comfortable before, during and after a grooming.
Barbara and Don, founders of Fabulous Lanai Grooming, often drop by the salon even in retirement. Their grandsons Ryan and Cooper also occasionally join the team, particularly during busy times of the year.
